Finland: The Country of White Lilies is a 1923 book written by Russian writer Grigory Petrov.
The work, which consists of the notes of the writer Grigory Petrov’s travels to Finland at various intervals, tells the situation of the Finnish people in the last period of the 1800s, and the extraordinary struggle of a handful of Finnish intellectuals in the country, especially Johan Vilhelm Snellman, to get rid of ignorance.
